DWP staff arrested after money laundering raid

The DWP has refused to disclose details of the investigation but the paper understands the investigation centres around the alleged misuse of bank details by staff.

Blackburn jobcentre is my local centre. I was there today. I know the Simonstone site too. It's bad enough when we hear about customers defrauding the system, but when staff are at the heart of such fraud on a large scale, this is an entirely different issue. I realise this is a relatively old thread, but I only joined the site yesterday, and I am just catching up on things now.
