A video showing the old PCA asessment no longer in use, developed to show the system and to help people with mh difficulties, still worth a look as it ilustrates what to expect at a WCA http://www.ceimh.bham.ac.uk/tv/benefits.shtml

Interesting video, but I think it would've been a lot better if they'd done the glass half full/glass half empty with exactly the same situation.

For example, "How did you get to this assessment" and the response "I came by bus" qualified with "I travelled alone" could've been viewed in different ways.

The glass half full response being said quite upbeat (perhaps due to feeling a sense of achievement at having done it) and with no further explanation.

The glass half empty response explaining that yes they'd gone on a bus alone, but it had been difficult to cope with the anxiety at times, and that they'd had to do a practice run a few times with a friend/support worker to be able to do it on their own today, having planned ahead due to knowing that no-one was available to accompany them that day.
