Two Nottingham residents, a pensioner and a wheelchair user, have been charged with aggravated trespass. The pair, dubbed the “Atos Two” by supporters, were arrested following a peaceful protest the offices of the Atos “Healthcare” on Stoney Street on September 30th. I do hope The ATOS TWO have good legal representation. As one comment says Quote: the most relevant thing for the 2 people charged, & their legal reprentatives, is I think........ During the course of their actions (trespass?), did they have any "intention of disrupting or intimidating" anyone?.. That is stated in Section 68 of The Criminal Justice & Public Order Act 1994.

I hope that the personal mitigating circumstances will be taken into account,however literally speaking they did commit the offence.

I dont live in the area but I wish them all the support,
They will prob. say coz you can demonstrate you can work!!!!!! the police that arrested them I BET THERE MOTHERS ARE REALLY PROUD OF THEM, down the road some OAP being mugged they wouldnt bother going to.
This country is now becoming like the old Soviet Union, if you say anything against the Gov. about using common sense they either force you to keep mouth shut through law, or with threats mentally, or if like the genuine people that are ill and cant work, and rely on help, ( even tho like me have worked since age of 15 and paid enuff in ) they threaten to take it away from you.
WHERE ARE OUR HUMAN RIGHTS !!!!!!!!! ATOS SHOULD BE STRUCK OFF AS A GOV. CONTRACT EMPLOYEE AND FINED, makes me wonder which MP is a share holder in this so called caring company, all the Doctors, Consultants, Specialists Etc should all write a petition saying how ATOS are calling them incompetant liars, and they should take them to court for character, integrity, and proffesionalism assasination, thort Labour were bad enuff, cameron and his cronies are even worse and only been in power 5 min. Hate this lot and the previous lot, hate em all, feel avnt got long for this world because of illness, so feel like going down to houses of parliament and making a statement that wouldnt be forgotten !!!!!!!!!!, I GET SO ANGRY WHEN PEOPLE TREATED SO UNFAIRLY

not much progress in a thousand years, the most challenged members in society in the good county of nottinghamshire, end up in front of the sheriff, for daring to speak out over a greedy selfish bunch of crooked lying money motivated scum. i will be drumming up support for the nottingham two, and look forward to developments at the magistrates court and will wait with anticipation how thees robbing hoods try and bully our two maid marions. with kind thoughts steve.

Unfortunately, on arrival, the Atos Two discovered that their case was not actually listed until 11.30am, leaving them with more than 2.5 hours to kill.
