I am currently trying ('trying' being the operative word, as I'm really not getting very far at all) to write a letter of appeal as I 'failed' my medical. I've been told by my old support worker (I unfortunately no longer have one as I moved cities) that the best way to form my appeal letter would be on a 'point by point' basis. I.e. to go down the list entitled 'funtional area' that was sent with my 'you are not entitled to ESA' letter and challenge each one.

So the simple question is: how many points do I need to qualify?

Sorry if this question has been asked and answered before, I've had a look around but cannot find anything.

Hard times for us all, thanking the Universe for this website!! And for any replies :-)

Mid

How many points maximum do you get in each section? As in each box in which a number can be placed.

Just realised I misread that totally!

What I should have said was: thanks for your answer Osdset! Very helpful!

And that is a VERY good question Danny_G13, I would like to know the same.

(and they gave me 0 points for 'you can understand a simple message from strangers'!! lol)

Some of the 'summaries' are absolutely ridiculous. It's like they're asking irrelevant/stupid questions in order to fail you.
